Cheshire Oil Refinery – Cooling System Valve Releasing

Cutlass Technologies was called to service a high-quality 42-inch valve that had not moved for over 40 years. Unlike many modern valves, older valves like this are built to very high standards, making them valuable assets that can last decades if properly maintained. The valve needed to be closed to facilitate the connection of a new pipeline.

Using our specialist valve releasing technology, the valve was carefully freed and fully operational over a single weekend, with no loss of production.
